Phonophobic use digital tools in a loose, improvisational way, resulting in
towering electronic soundscapes through a very human filter. At times conjuring
sounds reminiscent of The Necks or The Dirty Three, at other times sounding
like Aphex Twin, Brian Eno or Plone, Phonophobic shows that electronic music
doesn't have to be limited to thumping acid or the repetitive drone of house.
